- Responsibilities: Project and Program Delivery: Responsible for the successful delivery of both individual technical projects and larger programs, which may consist of interconnected projects. This includes defining project scopes, creating detailed plans, tracking progress, and ensuring quality.\n
- Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and collaboration across various teams, including IT, cybersecurity, functional areas and business areas. K eep stakeholders informed about project status, risks, and dependencies, and facilitate effective communication and decision-making\n
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. This includes developing contingency plans, tracking issues, and escalating problems as needed.\n
- Resource Management: Manage resources (personnel, budget, etc.) to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within allocated constraints.\n
- Technical Expertise: Leverage technical knowledge to understand technical requirements, assess feasibility, and guide technical decisions.\n
- Communication and Reporting: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders through various channels, including reports, presentations, and meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor9s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field\n
- Typically 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management\n
- Typically 3+ years leading medium scale project scope spanning 1-2 years, while leading teams made up of 5+ cross functional team members\n
- Experience managing IT technical projects\n
- Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes.\n
- Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes\n
- Experience with managing a complex project or larger program\n
- Experience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines\n
- Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible\n
- Requires ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management.\n
- Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc.\n
- Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.\n
- Requires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks.\n
- Proficient leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews\n
