About the role

  • Assist in the analysis, development, and configuration of existing software and systems that address business requirements and processes
  • Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of systems
  • Establish and document system parameters and formats
  • Ensure hardware and software system compatibility
  • Coordinate and/or modify system parameters
  • Revise existing systems and test functionality of those systems
  • Correct deficiencies and produce more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an information technology related field with at least 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Prior experience with systems administration in Windows or Linux environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with others
  • Demonstrate a customer care philosophy that ensures a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Proven organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • 2-5 years' experience implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Cloud Operations (preferred)
  • 2-5 years' experience implementing and supporting VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation) (preferred)
  • 2-5 years' experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (PRTG, VROperations, Solarwinds) (preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot Network connectivity between Server Infrastructure
  • One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred)
