About the role
- Support multidisciplinary teams in transforming concepts into reality
- Provide necessary tools, processes, and support to peers
- Focus on researching, designing, developing, testing, certifying, deploying, and improving products and services
- Collaborate with program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams
- Apply manufacturing technologies and best practices throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in related engineering discipline
- typically 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Familiarity in applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Knowledge of industry standard design principles
- Familiarity with work instruction/traveler development
- Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB)
- Experience with new product introduction and transition to production
- Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
