About the role
- support SAOC training systems to implement an integrated plan for product development
- coordinating activities throughout the product lifecycle from design concept phase to release
- monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery
- interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters
- review, manage, proactively challenge, and control status of project programs and budgets

Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of study
- Typically, 8+ years of progressive technical experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practice
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team
- Basic understanding of requirements management, system design, integration
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Experience with training & simulator/simulation systems
- Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering design evaluations
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required
- Minimal of 3 years of design & integration experience in the environment of commercial or military aviation simulator training devices.
- Ability to identify opportunities and use innovative approaches
- Experience in CAMEO or equivalent MBSE modeling platform
- Experience in Jama or equivalent requirements management tool
- Experience in Cyber Security and controls
- Experience in EVMS processes
- Typically 2-4 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experience
- Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team
- Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management
- Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedure
- Professional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience or certification in INCOSE standard
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
