About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service Diagnostics Equipment in the Seattle, WA area.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs.
- Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers.
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Diagnostics Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient use of tools and service test equipment.
- General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
- Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website, and Engineer Tools.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
- Ability to work individually and in an established team setting.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping and manipulation; good vision; ability to work alone.
- Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources.
- Strong competency in mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
- Experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
