About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service Diagnostics Equipment in the Seattle, WA area.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Deliver timely and effective repairs.
Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers.
Perform necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
3-5 years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Diagnostics Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficient use of tools and service test equipment.
General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website, and Engineer Tools.
Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
Ability to work individually and in an established team setting.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping and manipulation; good vision; ability to work alone.
Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources.
Strong competency in mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
Experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
