About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service Diagnostics Equipment in the Seattle, WA area.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance within the territory, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers.
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
- Proficiency in all necessary network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.
- 3-5 years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments needed.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine grasping manipulation.
- Good vision and ability to work alone.
- Excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.
- Strong competency in instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
- Experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Must hold a valid driver's license in the state where they reside and may not have prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending DUI/DWI charges, or other serious moving violations unless prohibited by law.
- Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements for full client-site access, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
