About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop the Midwest Zone business strategy in alignment with Siemens Healthineers’ North American strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization accountable for revenue, market share, profitability, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction
- Manage regional account teams and set growth targets for Regional Vice Presidents and Area Vice Presidents
- Build relationships with healthcare executives, provider networks, distributors, and non-traditional channels
- Oversee zone sales leadership, talent development, and succession planning
- Provide proactive communication and lead change management
- Develop and coach direct reports and the zone team
- Build executive-level customer relationships with significant time at customer sites
- Lead strategic partnerships with luminary customers, integrated delivery networks, academic and research institutions, and strategic alliances
- Collaborate with Services, Project Management, Solution Implementations, Finance, business lines, and regional functions
- Improve business processes, customer satisfaction, forecasting accuracy, transparency, and sales-tool management
- Develop growth strategies for Population Health, Managed Equipment Services, and Integrated Service Management contracts
- Cultivate a diverse, inclusive, high-performance culture and model integrity and values-based leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of sales leadership experience in medical technology or diagnostic imaging
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead across a matrix organization and empower managers
- Strong intra-organizational collaboration, influence, and negotiation capabilities at senior levels
- Deep knowledge of imaging or related healthcare technologies preferred
- Understanding of healthcare-industry macro trends and the market and customer landscape
- Proven track record in leadership, targeting, and closing strategic accounts
- Outstanding executive presence and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel within the zone 70% of the time
