About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI area
Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites
Deliver timely and effective repairs
Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management
Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts
Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
Perform necessary administrative duties accurately
Participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
Travel and provide service throughout the assigned geography

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of field service experience desired
Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency using tools and service test equipment
Ability to work independently and in an established team setting
Ability to travel and provide service in the assigned geography
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
Valid driver's license in the state of residence
Ability to drive independently day and night
Good driving record
No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations, unless prohibited by law
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine-grasping tasks
Good vision and ability to work alone
Must satisfy applicable vendor credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
Successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
