About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI area
- Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites
- Deliver timely and effective repairs
- Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage territory financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and inventory
- Manage company assets, including the company car, phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts
- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
- Perform administrative duties accurately
- Provide service across the assigned geography
- Participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of field service experience desired
- Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventive maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in an established team setting
- Ability to travel and provide service in the assigned geography
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence
- Ability to drive independently day and night and a good driving record
- Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
- Must be able to work with controlled technology under US export control law
