About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI area
Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites
Deliver timely and effective repairs
Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction
Manage territory financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and inventory
Manage company assets, including the company car, phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts
Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers
Perform administrative duties accurately
Provide service across the assigned geography
Participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum high school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of field service experience desired
Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventive maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment
Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in an established team setting
Ability to travel and provide service in the assigned geography
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
Valid driver's license in the state of residence
Ability to drive independently day and night and a good driving record
Must meet applicable Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
Must be able to work with controlled technology under US export control law
