About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary customer contact for troubleshooting, technical guidance, and general IT and system support throughout the Nordic and Baltics region
- Assist with troubleshooting and provide technical guidance and support
- Enter detailed service-work records into company information systems and maintain accurate customer information
- Track support issues, bugs, and feature requests, working with escalation teams and developers as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues worldwide on troubleshooting, upgrades, and projects
- Interact with customers through on-site visits and remote support to resolve issues
- Update the Knowledge Base with technical guides and tips
- Perform activities according to Siemens Healthineers safety guidelines and under safe working conditions
- Occasionally participate in on-site installation of IT systems throughout the region
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and customer empathy demonstrated through previous similar-role experience, ideally in medical devices or technology
- Frequent use and application of technical documentation, standards, principles, concepts, and techniques
- Practical and advanced knowledge of Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Registry
- Certification in relevant Microsoft technologies preferred
- Understanding and practical experience using PowerShell scripts
- Practical and advanced knowledge of Windows-based computer architecture, including server and desktop operating systems and their relationship to advanced software applications
- Solid understanding of networking architectures and principles
- Preferably knowledge of Parallels, Citrix XenApp, and virtualization techniques
- Sound hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of IT service management concepts and frameworks such as ITIL
- Written and verbal English proficiency required
- One of the Nordic languages required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or several years of experience from an international company solving IT problems for external customers
- Proactive, customer-oriented, service-minded attitude; analytical, problem-solving, systematic, and structured mindset
