About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are the first point of contact for our employees on topics including onboarding & offboarding, compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • You work hand in hand with our local HR Site Lead and support both operational and strategic HR matters.
  • You are a driving force within our Global People Connect team, focusing on process optimization and harmonization, automation and standardization, HR transformation, and knowledge management within our department.
  • You are responsible for processing and maintaining employee data, managing attendance and absences from onboarding to offboarding, and handling the issuance of employment-related certificates and documentation.
  • You are the central point of contact for payroll preparation and maintain direct contact with our payroll accountant.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree or vocational training with an administrative or commercial focus.
  • Several years of experience in a professional office environment with a focus on personnel administration, payroll, and general HR activities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); initial experience with other HR/people systems or HR tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with employees and managers at all levels, and an independent, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
  • Enjoy working in a team and an interest in virtual, global collaboration.
  • Fluent German and strong English skills.
