Key responsibilities & impact

Ensures efficient Project Management (PM) coordination and administration, and ensures adherence to defined and agreed process and commercial standards and guidelines.
Leads, develops, and mentors a team of Program Managers, driving accountability and high performance.
Establishes program management standards, tools, and best practices across R&D.
Aligns program execution with R&D strategy, product portfolio, and technology roadmap.
Drives organizational prioritization, resource planning, and capacity management.
Oversees a portfolio of R&D programs, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Provides guidance and escalation support on risks, opportunities, budgets, and resource allocation.
Ensures consistent execution of project governance, agreements, and development processes.
Maintains accountability for overall program health and successful outcomes.
Drives strong collaboration across engineering, product management, quality, regulatory, and operations.
Ensures alignment and transparency across teams, removing obstacles and enabling execution.
Facilitates key program reviews and decision-making forums at the organizational level.
Establishes and maintains program governance frameworks, metrics, and reporting standards.
Provides clear portfolio-level reporting to senior leadership (Director/VP), including status, risks, and key milestones.
Leads portfolio planning, prioritization, and launch readiness reviews.
Ensures compliance with architecture, design, quality, safety, regulatory, and IP standards across programs.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives across program management practices.
Promotes knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and reuse across teams.
Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and predictability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
Proven experience leading program managers and managing complex technology or engineering portfolios, preferably in a regulated environment.
Proficiency with standard business and productivity tools (MS Office suite).
