About the role

  • Perform pre-sale demonstrations for the Siemens ultrasound product line
  • Provide expert technical training and deliver excellent customer service at customer medical facilities
  • Assist in the sales process through product demonstrations and customer interactions to achieve regional and corporate sales/marketing goals
  • Assist in the growth of business through promotion of new products and upgrades
  • Work closely with the sales team to optimize product and image quality for the customer
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends in ultrasound to support customers as product capabilities are developed and released
  • Support company goals in all interactions with customers and employees
  • Report to the Zone Clinical Director within the Healthineers Division
  • Travel extensively across the territory (Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon) to provide on-site support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of clinical experience as a general imaging sonographer
  • Registration through the RDMS in general ultrasound imaging
  • Typically other certifications: RDCS, RVT
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and solid presentation skills
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness to travel extensively to support company goals, up to 75% of the time (Average 3 overnights per week)
  • Able to fully understand and present the technology associated with each key platform, with an excellent understanding of ultrasound physics
  • Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites and meet Vendor Credentialing requirements (proof of valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations including COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, annual TB testing, healthcare training)
