About the role
- Set the global vision and roadmap for both Marketing Excellence and Marketing Communications, ensuring cohesive strategies that drive growth and elevate brand impact.
- Serve as a senior advisor to product management, regional marketing, commercial leaders, and country organizations.
- Lead communications strategy for POC Diagnostics globally, ensuring consistent messaging and effective multi-channel execution.
- Lead the development, governance, and adoption of marketing standards, processes, and best practices globally.
- Oversee competency-building programs, capability frameworks, and training aligned to the Marketing Excellence model.
- Ensure transparent planning, execution, performance tracking, and optimization of global and regional digital campaigns, including KPI definition and reporting.
- Foster strong collaboration across business areas, business lines, and countries.
- Serve as executive sponsor for digital marketing tool governance (e.g., Eloqua for email marketing).
- Drive the development and execution of innovative, results-driven marketing communication strategies, plans, and media channels to achieve business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using defined performance metrics, dashboards, and analytics frameworks to assess impact and guide optimization.
- Oversee and manage the communications budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets and efficient resource allocation.
- Provide strategic direction and daily management to a team of 4-5 U.S.-based professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Serve as the primary Point-of-Care Marketing Communications lead for cross-functional initiatives, including tradeshows, rebranding projects, and strategic campaigns.
- Act as lead trainer for customer story mining, enabling the creation of compelling narratives for promotional use across multiple channels.
- Partner with the PR team to identify opportunities for press releases, byline articles, and media stories that amplify brand visibility.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities for customers to share their experiences and strengthen external brand credibility.
- Lead global communications for POC acquisitions, managing initial strategy and transitioning execution to the team during commercialization.
- Direct website and email strategy to enhance customer engagement and optimize digital presence.
- Establish and lead a unified, compliant framework for Voice of Customer insights, supporting product and marketing strategy.
- Oversee global Speaker Programs, including speaker identification, content development, training, and compliance alignment.
- Lead planning and facilitation of Advisory Boards, ensuring they generate actionable insights and follow regulatory standards.
- Own the consolidated annual marketing planning process for POC, including campaign prioritization, investment planning, and KPI setting.
- Serve as the strategic lead for country marketing communications, setting direction and standards while empowering the Marcom team to drive aligned and locally relevant implementation.
- Improve communication flow, best-practice sharing, and campaign consistency across regions (supported by structures referenced in Marketing Collective and regular touchpoints).
Requirements
- Minimum 7–9 years in marketing, marketing communications, advertising, or business management with a proven record of delivering impactful strategies.
- Demonstrated mastery of multiple disciplines, including campaign development, sales enablement, advertising, digital marketing, and media planning.
- Exceptional command of English with strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading abilities; meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and day-to-day oversight to a high-performing team.
- Skilled in developing timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating multiple projects from concept through execution.
- Proven ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to identify opportunities for customer advocacy and engagement.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with digital platforms and e-commerce strategies.
- Experience partnering with PR, product management, and global teams to deliver cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns.
- Experience in VoC, Speaker Programs, Advisory Boards, or external engagement governance a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with compliance and regulatory standards in healthcare marketing, including knowledge of audit-ready processes and documentation requirements.
