About the role
- Service MR/CT Imaging Equipment in the Dallas, TX area.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision
- Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance
- Manage financial performance within territory: revenue, expense control, inventory management
- Ensure tool and test equipment calibration and documentation on eFSR
- Manage company assets (car, phone, computer, tools, inventory)
- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers; perform administrative duties
- Provide mentoring to other CSEs
- Shift: M-F, 1st or 2nd shift after onboarding/training
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment
- Ability to work both individually and in a team
- Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools)
- Ability to read and understand documents for install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, functional descriptions
- 7+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Physical ability: lift 50lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping
- Strong competency in instrument systems technology: mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
