About the role
- Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the assigned territory
- Lead and coordinate strategic sales campaigns, leveraging internal resources and cross-functional teams
- Conduct in-depth workflow analyses and “day in the lab” assessments to present tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across healthcare systems
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and participate in quarterly business reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments (e.g., capital equipment, medical devices, diagnostics).
- Proven success in new business acquisition and solution selling.
- Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, including Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.
- Experience with strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman).
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role with regional travel.
