About the role

  • At the core, increase the qualified web traffic and sales qualified leads to Siege Media
  • Execute an account based marketing (ABM) strategy aimed at high growth startups and potential enterprise clients
  • Own the Siege Media website, updating positioning, case studies and overall brand experience to drive new business goals and stay up to date with the industry
  • Collaborate with the sales team in developing marketing collateral such as sales deck slides, case studies/battle cards, and thought leadership content
  • Serve as the final say/QA for business development content
  • Manage and proactively source available team utilization to create thought leadership/SEO content for the Siege blog with the goal of growing sales qualified leads
  • Manage social media strategy and create content for Siege Media across podcast platforms, email, LinkedIn, X and Threads, both for the company and personally.
  • Content will be a mix of managed content via Siege Media team, and thought leadership content personally.
  • Manage the Siege Media “Content and Conversation” podcast, sourcing relevant guests and project managing the process to drive business goals
  • Periodically attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis with a focus on building the business and fostering networking relationships
  • Periodically attend sales calls as a backup to the sales team/service leads
  • Manage a set business development budget to most intelligently allocate against internal and external resources to scale impact of the department
  • Manage a set business development advertising budget, included but not limited to newsletter sponsorships, events, networking events and listing directories
  • Engage blog business development partners/affiliates on a recurring basis via email to confirm performance and attribution
  • Project manage Siege Media team members via working with Content Marketing Managers to help them stay on timeline and hit Siege publishing and quality goals
  • Run Siege Media’s monthly business development strategy meeting
  • Report and improve on business development metrics monthly, such as SQLs, traffic, organic traffic, keyword rankings, and etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding annual marketing goals, resulting in significant business growth
  • 3+ years of experience working at an agency, ideally working in a marketing capacity or leading the marketing department
  • Experience and enthusiasm for integrating AI into demand gen workflows
  • Experience either marketing to enterprise accounts or being part of one
  • Experience and expertise in SEO and content marketing
  • Experience leading team meetings and maintaining agendas
  • Experience managing a marketing budget
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form productive working relationships in a remote setting
  • Ability to occasionally travel to conventions, networking events, and trade shows
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Suggested: Established personal brand in the areas of SEO/marketing/content marketing
  • Suggested: 2+ years of social media strategy experience that generates measurable platform growth and target audience engagement
  • Suggested: Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
