About the role
- Sidekick Network GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its freelance talent pool and seeks Research & Development, Quality & Operations Consultant for IT.
- The role requires proven experience in IT service or application management within manufacturing environments, combined with expertise in PLM/PDM systems, R&D IT, Quality systems, or Smart Factory IT operations.
- Tasks: The exact tasks and responsibilities will be defined based on the client’s needs in each individual project request.
Requirements
- IT Service / Application Management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT service or application management
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Domain Expertise (at least one of the following): R&D (CAD/CAE) IT systems
- PDM/PLM solutions (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
- Quality management systems / Quality IT operations
- Smart Factory IT operations
- Service Management & Governance
- Proven track record in vendor management
- Ability to establish and oversee service governance processes
- Knowledge of ITIL / Service Delivery / Service Operations
- Technology & Tools
- Experience with PLM/PDM platforms (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM)
- Understanding of CAD integration or related R&D IT tools is a plus
- Familiarity with low-code platforms (Mendix preferred)
- General knowledge of IT project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint)
- Fluent in English
