About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring clear and effective communication in both Japanese and Portuguese.
Lead client meetings, status updates, and project discussions, translating business needs into actionable plans for QA teams.
Manage QA projects involving multiple teams, including Firmware QA, Client QA, and Automation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders through proactive communication and trust.
Maintain regular alignment with clients, project stakeholders, and QA leaders to ensure objectives, priorities, and deadlines are met.
Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating issues before they impact deliveries.
Provide accurate and timely updates, reports, and status communications.
Coordinate schedules, resource allocation, and team priorities.
Understand the challenges faced by teams and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and deliverables.
Mentor and develop QA teams, promoting knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Conduct surveys with teams and implement initiatives to improve collaboration and performance.
Manage workflows, dashboards, and queries in JIRA to ensure accurate project tracking.
Prepare presentations, project reports, and metrics using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Manage calendars, meetings, and communications using Microsoft Outlook.
Maintain solid knowledge of QA methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle, and hardware integration.
Support the Finance team in collecting and validating project data required for client billing.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluency in Japanese, both spoken and written.
Professional proficiency in Portuguese.
Confidence to lead meetings, manage client communications, and build relationships with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
Experience in team management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across multicultural teams.
Experience coordinating projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Ability to remain organized, patient, and solution-focused in a dynamic environment.
Good command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
