Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Product Manager with impact analysis, refinement, prioritization, and tracking of product initiatives.
Understand, refine, and detail business rules, translating needs and processes into clear, complete, and testable requirements.
Act as the link between business and technology, facilitating communication among partner teams, Product Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Understand accounting, operational, and regulatory processes, assessing their impacts on cooperatives, business areas, and the systems involved.
Monitor critical integrations and processes, identifying deviations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Perform the initial analysis of service requests, incidents, and integration issues, assessing impacts and coordinating resolution with the responsible team.
Support the ongoing operation and continuous evolution of Engine Contábil products and services.
Conduct root cause analyses and track corrective and preventive actions.
Identify needs, pain points, and opportunities with partner teams, translating demands into requirements, hypotheses, and solutions.
Participate in the discovery, definition, and evolution of solutions, analyzing end-to-end impacts.
Facilitate alignment between business and technology, mediate discussions, clarify questions, and document decisions.
Organize and maintain relationships with the points of contact for the products served by the squad.
Generate and monitor metrics, as well as analyses of volume, capacity, performance, and operational health.
Contribute to documenting and disseminating knowledge about processes, products, business rules, and integrations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Systems thinking to understand end-to-end workflows and the impacts across processes, systems, and teams, along with the ability to learn and master tools that support the role.
Knowledge of SQL queries for investigations, operational analyses, and validation of business rules.
Genuine interest in technology, digital products, and continuous learning.
Ability to understand technical concepts such as APIs, events, integrations, messaging, Kafka, volume metrics, observability, and performance.
Ability to understand business problems and transform them into requirements and product evolution opportunities.
Analytical and investigative mindset for identifying problems, causes, impacts, and improvement opportunities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics for business audiences and vice versa.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple demands simultaneously.
Sense of urgency and ownership when handling incidents and critical matters.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
Ability to lead requirements-gathering, refinement, and alignment meetings.
Promote data-driven decision-making by using indicators, metrics, evidence, analyses, and feedback to identify problems, validate hypotheses, support prioritization, and guide product evolution.
Experience as a Business Analyst or in similar roles on product teams (preferred).
Experience with discovery, requirements gathering, and requirements detailing (preferred).
Experience supporting critical systems and enterprise products (preferred).
Knowledge of event-driven architecture (preferred).
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting system integrations (preferred).
Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and log analysis tools (preferred).
Experience in agile environments and working closely with cross-functional squads (preferred).
Knowledge of BI tools, data analysis, and dashboard/metric development (preferred).
Experience with financial, accounting, regulatory products, or credit union ecosystems (preferred).
Analytical thinking: techniques and methods for analyzing information (preferred).
Proficiency in problem analysis and solution methods (preferred).
