Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred fields of study: Systems Analysis, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas.
Education level: Higher education – completed or in progress.
Proficiency in programming languages: Languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and SQL are essential;
Database knowledge: A deep understanding of relational databases (such as MySQL and Oracle) and non-relational databases such as MongoDB is crucial. Additionally, knowledge of cloud storage tools, such as Amazon S3 or other cloud providers, is important.
ETL experience (Extract, Transform, Load): ETL processes are fundamental to extract data from different sources, transform it according to business needs, and load it into target systems.
Proficiency in distributed storage and processing: As data volumes grow, knowledge of Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is essential for distributed data storage and processing.
Strong, assertive, and fluent communication with other data professionals and business areas.
