About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform reconciliations and accounting entries, as well as monthly calculate and validate the balances of the entities Confederação de Serviços Sicredi, Fundação Sicredi, and Asset Management. Also participate in the preparation of these entities' financial statements, ensuring appropriate process governance and leading meetings with business areas to analyze and resolve any discrepancies.
- Work on processes related to the accounting close between the 1st and 4th business day for Confederação de Serviços Sicredi, Fundação Sicredi, and Asset Management.
- Generate accounting data to support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, using data analysis to increase operational efficiency.
- Assist in responding to audits (internal and external).
- Act as a proactive owner with genuine interest in the business—taking responsibility and maintaining strong relationships with partner areas.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and reconciliation procedures.
- Knowledge of fixed-income operations and derivatives.
- Proficient in Excel, at least at an intermediate level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams for understanding and mapping accounting processes and routines.
- Data-oriented profile; experience with data generation and analysis tools in a corporate environment.
- Apply an agile mindset to promote a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Be curious, driven, and motivated by challenges.
- **Desirable qualifications (these do not disqualify you from applying; having one or more will be considered a plus in the interview):**
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Accounting ERP).
- Knowledge of credit cooperatives.
- MBA, Master's, or postgraduate degree preferably in controllership or accounting.
