About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform ETL processes (extract, transform, and load data);
Automate area processes and routines;
Work on data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
Obtain data from source systems in an easy-to-use format;
Assist in building data pipelines, ensuring pipeline quality, performance, and sustainability;
Manage databases according to best practices;
Interact with different roles in the data and systems process (analysts, other engineers, data scientists, and business analysts);
Participate in the Data Engineers chapter, encouraging and promoting a data-driven culture across colleagues and teams in our operation;
Maintain necessary documentation for your deliverables;
Keep evolving technically;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related areas;
Analytical thinking;
Strong writing, synthesis, and communication skills;
Experience using Apache Spark;
Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala;
Experience with credit data;
Familiarity with Databricks for building and managing big data pipelines is preferred;
Knowledge of data modeling techniques to design efficient data schemas is preferred;
Intermediate English preferred;
Knowledge of Financial Markets and Credit is a plus;
