About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the data teams of the Executive Directorate of Credit and Segments
- Improve the entire data pipeline, from structuring to decision-making
- Generate data-driven insights
- Ensure a broad, cross-cutting perspective across all credit areas
- Guide the development of plans and actions relevant to Sicredi's strategy
- Build advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions
- Turn large volumes of data into actionable insights and predictive models
- Support critical business decisions, driving impact in areas such as credit, risk, member behavior, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Proven experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related areas
- Proficiency in languages such as Python or R
- Experience with ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis tools (Pandas, SQL, Spark, etc.)
- Experience with model deployment and MLOps
- Knowledge of applied statistics and predictive modeling techniques
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights
- Good communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments
- Nice to have: Experience in the Agro sector or financial services (credit/risk)
- Knowledge of models for crop yield forecasting, default prediction, or producer behavior
- Experience with geospatial, climate, or economic data
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS).
