About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Investigate, correlate, and analyze information from various tabular and georeferenced data sources and systems
Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems), geoprocessing, and remote sensing to measure and monitor social, environmental, and climate risks
Develop and update management reports and dashboards to track indicators
Provide support to Sicredi's credit cooperatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed higher education in: Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agronomic Engineering, Cartographic Engineering, Geography, Geology, or related fields;
Experience with geoprocessing, remote sensing, and cartography;
Practical experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS);
Knowledge of the Python programming language (particularly libraries such as arcpy, pyqgis, geopandas, pandas, numpy) and/or SQL;
Knowledge of current environmental legislation;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
