About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain and monitor credit risk models focused on expected loss (PD, EAD, LGD);
Actively collaborate with business areas, ensuring our analytical solutions are integrated into Sicredi’s credit strategies and objectives;
Continuously monitor model performance and recommend improvements;
Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data;
Perform data analyses to support strategic decisions;
Foster and disseminate a risk culture among the cooperatives;
Communicate clearly and provide technical support to internal teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in statistical modeling, preferably in credit/credit risk;
Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (regressions, decision trees, ML techniques, etc.);
Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning;
Experience with programming languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL or others);
Ability to communicate technical results clearly and concisely to non-expert audiences;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and, especially, Excel).
Differentials
Knowledge or practical experience with modeling and provisioning under IFRS 9 (PD, EAD, LGD);
Experience in the financial market or credit cooperativism;
Experience with complex data environments.
