About the role
- Support the Engineering Manager in organizing this competency horizontally, structuring strategies/drivers and driving these initiatives with the teams together with the other Chapter Leads and Specialists of the horizontal;
- Lead strategies to attract and develop software engineering professionals (1:1s, PDI, Hiring / Offboarding);
- Within the vertical you are part of, act as a leader supporting product leadership in structuring teams and providing the technical foundation for the product to operate effectively;
- Perform people management and development activities;
- Support the horizontal operations so that processes, tools and capacity are adequate for developers to work together with the verticals to deliver product releases with quality;
- Lead software engineering topics with leaders from other technical horizontals, seeking to understand business strategy and the product roadmap, ensuring progress of deliveries through the established drivers;
- Pair with GPMs and PMs to understand the main business challenges;
- Foster adoption of new technologies aligned with the architectural model to solve business problems;
- Connect with other technology areas to enable business demands and needs.
Requirements

- Software development experience;
- Metrics-driven processes and management;
- Technology management;
- Ability to operate within organizational structures (horizontal and vertical);
- Direct people leadership;
- Agile methodologies, Lean and Kanban;
- Technical knowledge in software architecture and engineering;
- Strategic vision and the ability to navigate between the technical and strategic levels of the company;
- Strong communication and storytelling skills;
- Basic knowledge of the financial market (Banking and Investments);
