About the role

  • The candidate will join the FX Sales Desk team, working daily on members' FX settlement routines, analyzing and assigning transactions to the most appropriate purpose, and maintaining close coordination with the Treasury Desk (proprietary) for currency pricing and any transaction adjustments;
  • Analyze, verify and review controls over executed transactions, maintaining appropriate communication and conduct;
  • Be organized, disciplined and execution-focused in their responsibilities;
  • Flexible and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong ability to follow policies and regulations;
  • Provide consultative support to cooperatives and members on products involving FX and international trade;
  • Monitor members’ journeys with empathy and responsibility for completing processes, demonstrating proactivity and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in International Trade, Business Administration or Economics;
  • Knowledge of spot FX operations and trade finance;
  • Desirable knowledge of currency derivatives and related products;
  • Previous experience on an FX desk is ESSENTIAL;
  • Experience with the Exchange FX system is a plus;
  • Experience in the financial market is essential;
  • Intermediate to advanced English (reading, writing and speaking);
  • Advanced Excel proficiency;
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days on-site / 2 remote);
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders;
  • Ability to remain calm and respond positively in a high-pressure environment;
  • Good organizational judgment and the ability to manage concurrent activities are indispensable.
