About the role

  • Coordinate the operation of the Asset Monitoring Center, which includes a third‑party team working 12/36 shifts plus direct employees.
  • Liaise with monitoring centers and cooperatives on alarm and video surveillance monitoring.
  • Coordinate a team of professionals.
  • Responsible for the performance and results of a team within their discipline or function.
  • Adapt plans and priorities to align resources with operational and professional challenges.
  • Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans; receives direction from a manager.
  • Provide technical guidance to subordinates, peers and/or clients.
  • Resolve problems using defined processes.
  • Manage staff by setting objectives, directing individual development plans and providing periodic feedback to monitor progress against agreed targets and employee development.

Requirements

  • Support electronic security projects to enhance security levels and align business needs with security requirements and corporate strategies.
  • Coordinate the response to asset and personal security incidents reported or signaled to the monitoring center; monitor the identification of new vulnerabilities in monitored environments to support affected areas, minimize operational risks and loss events, and identify improvements to the electronic security management system.
  • Coordinate the development of asset and personal security policies and associated controls to protect physical assets and people; provide support in identifying audit points for asset and personal security to mitigate operational risks and loss events.
