About the role

  • Lead the definition and implementation of the quality strategy within your team, covering all aspects of the solution from requirements definition to code development;
  • Design and execute test scenarios based on business requirements written as user stories, including test management and familiarity with the tools used;
  • Develop automated tests for web services and UIs (API, web, and mobile);
  • Work across the entire product development lifecycle, from conception to production rollout and ongoing maintenance;
  • Participate in collaborative product design;
  • Take part in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice, encouraging and promoting the dissemination of a quality culture among colleagues and teams across our operation.

Requirements

  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle;
  • Creation of test strategies at different levels (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) using both manual and automated testing;
  • Creation and execution of automated tests (for Services/APIs, web interfaces, mobile) with execution in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab);
  • Testing mobile applications on physical and virtual devices and experience with financial applications;
  • Implementation of process, technical and tooling improvements for the team and operation to enhance quality;
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in teams, especially with Agile Testing;
  • Validation of non-functional requirements;
  • Validation of deployments in the production environment;
  • Knowledge of Java/JavaScript;
  • Experience with frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit;
  • Familiarity with Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, BrowserStack;
  • Understanding of software development practices and patterns;
  • Nice to have: experience with Cloud Computing infrastructures;
  • Knowledge of microservices concepts and distributed architecture.
