About the role

  • Lead the definition and implementation of the quality strategy within your team, covering all aspects of the solution from requirements definition to code development;
  • Design and execute test scenarios based on business requirements written as user stories, including test management and proficiency with the tools used;
  • Develop automated API tests using Java;
  • Participate across the entire product development process, from concept to production rollout and maintenance;
  • Contribute to collaborative product design;
  • Take part in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice, encouraging and promoting the dissemination of a quality culture among colleagues and teams across our operation.

Requirements

  • Work across the entire software development lifecycle;
  • More than 4 years of experience as a Quality Engineer;
  • Create test strategies at different levels (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) using manual and automated testing;
  • Develop and execute automated tests (for services/APIs) with execution in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab);
  • Implement process, technical, and tooling improvements for the team and operation to enhance quality;
  • Validate non-functional requirements;
  • Validate deployments in the production environment;
  • Experience in automation using Java and frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit;
  • Familiarity with frameworks/tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, BrowserStack;
  • Knowledge of software development practices and standards;
