About the role

  • Lead the structuring of the quality strategy within your team, considering all aspects of the solution, from requirements definition to code development;
  • Create and execute test scenarios based on business requirements in the form of user stories, as well as manage testing and be familiar with the tools used;
  • Develop automated API tests using Java;
  • Work across the entire product development process, from conception to production release and ongoing maintenance;
  • Participate in collaborative product design;
  • Take part in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice, encouraging and promoting the spread of a quality culture among colleagues and teams across our operation.

Requirements

  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle;
  • More than 4 years' experience as a Quality Engineer;
  • Design of test strategies at different levels (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) using both manual and automated tests;
  • Creation and execution of automated tests (for Services/API) with pipeline execution (Jenkins, GitLab);
  • Implementation of process, technical and tooling improvements for the team and operation to enhance quality;
  • Validation of non-functional requirements;
  • Validation of deployments in the production environment;
  • Experience with automation in Java and with frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit;
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, BrowserStack;
  • Familiarity with software development practices and design patterns;
