About the role

  • Develop new credit pricing models, taking into account Sicredi's different customer segments, strategies, assumptions, and products;
  • Implement, together with the product area, the models developed by the credit pricing team;
  • Monitor, review, recalculate, and calibrate models when appropriate;
  • Propose methodological improvements and automation for cost and elasticity models;
  • Produce studies and new proposals on credit pricing topics by understanding the profile of members, products, and stages of the credit lifecycle, providing insights for credit strategy or new deliverables and presenting them to relevant stakeholders;
  • Work alongside different product teams, assisting with analysis and providing new data/information perspectives;
  • Interact with the various roles in the data process (analysts, engineers, data scientists, and business analysts);
  • Maintain the necessary documentation for your deliverables;
  • Continuously develop technically by interacting with other Credit Cycle scientists, learning and teaching;
  • Present models to Credit Cooperatives and other CAS areas, highlighting the impacts of their use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or related areas;
  • Experience with statistical modeling applied to the credit market;
  • Strong writing, synthesis, presentation, and communication skills, using language appropriate to the target audience;
  • Experience with programming languages and tools such as Python, Spark, SQL, and SAS;
  • Practical experience in data analysis, monitoring KPIs, and conducting ad hoc studies;
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the credit market;
  • Knowledge of finance;
  • Intermediate English is desirable;
  • Experience in pricing (a plus).
