About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute worldwide supplier purchasing
  • Coordinate direct shipments
  • Place and confirm purchase orders
  • Address shortages, quality problems, and escalations
  • Facilitate import and export execution and problem-solving
  • Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders
  • Own product classification using Harmonized System codes (HTS and Schedule B)
  • Maintain audit-ready support, and standardize classification practices across the team
  • Provide trade compliance expertise, including ITAR considerations and Country of Origin certification/documentation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for compliance questions and escalations
  • Ensure accurate and timely procurement and logistics transactions within SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Promote data integrity standards across SAP P2P, Material Master, and (as applicable) SAP GTS
  • Create ISO standards alignment for the function by developing documentation
  • Support audit readiness, and drive corrective actions to closure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS or equivalent experience in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years Procurement experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Import/export experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS and Power Point
  • SAP Intermediate to advanced level user (P2P, MM and GTS modules) preferred
  • Ability to negotiate successfully
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and resourcefulness
