About the role
- Work closely with product, engineering and operations teams to establish the direction for the future of the platform and help serve small businesses with their insurance needs
- Gather, structure, and prioritize product requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Execute the roadmap across the technology stack to deliver industry-leading service at scale
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships to connect the product, the value proposition, and the audience
- Synthesize and summarize competitive intel, industry data, and market feedback into actionable insights for internal teams
- Bring ideas on the best approaches to making products more effective in new and innovative ways
- Partner with engineering and Senior Product Managers to bring the product vision to life with prototypes and mocks
Requirements
- 1+ years of product management experience
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Creative and analytical thinking
- Experience working on SaaS and/or marketplace products for small businesses is a plus!
- Must have worked in an early-stage start-up with healthcare/health tech preferred.
- Must have experience in consumer-facing applications.
- Proactive problem solver
- Experience developing creative solutions to complex problems
