About the role
- Report to the Area VP of Sales
- Sell products by managing and expanding customer base and identifying new customer opportunities
- Manage all Territory Managers and Territory Associates in their assigned region
- Provide positive mentoring to ensure that company goals and objectives are achieved
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for their assigned region in support of national objectives
- Meet with key leaders in spine to drive company business and acceptance of SIJ diagnosis and treatment
- Drive revenue to meet company objectives in a cost-effective manner with a focus on budget management
- Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with all applicable worldwide regulatory requirements as included in the scope of the SI-BONE Quality Manual
- Develop plans that detail how the regional team members can meet/exceed sales goals and quotas
- Execute and refine the selling strategy in their assigned region
- Monitor and evaluate the competition and suggest new products that will help expand the company’s business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management with focus in Sales and Marketing
- Experience in orthopedics is highly desired. Spine experience also a plus
- Experience working with independent surgical dealerships
- Currently or recently served in sales management of a high-growth, medical device organization whose products are marketed to a medical specialty practice and worked in that capacity for a minimum of 5 years
- High level of interpersonal skills: influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
- Must be an excellent communicator using all available channels
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and complete projects
- Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971) as required to perform the job function.
