About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Rust code.
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong proficiency in Rust programming, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and asynchronous programming (e.g., Tokio, async/await).
- Experience building backend services and APIs, ideally using Rust-based frameworks (Actix, Axum, Rocket) and microservice architectures.
- Solid understanding of systems programming concepts such as memory management, concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with databases and data storage (SQL/NoSQL, schema design, query optimization) and messaging/streaming systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) for deploying and operating services.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, including Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tooling.
- Ability to work closely with product, data, and AI teams to integrate Rust services into broader systems and to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication.
