About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of Shure Sales Development Specialists and establish strategic plans to achieve or exceed annual sales quotas across all Shure product lines
- Measure team performance using key performance indicators and coach team members on customer value and Shure’s Core Values
- Direct management of key accounts and develop and execute progressive business plans aligned with end-user needs and brand strategy
- Develop detailed knowledge of key accounts and maintain personal contact with key dealers
- Review dealer programs against performance goals, identify concerns and successes, and propose action plans
- Partner with Regional Sales leaders, B2B sellers, and marketing team members to build a strong sales pipeline and execute coordinated selling motions
- Monitor territory profit margins and plan to meet or exceed division objectives
- Develop and implement schedules for sales meetings, promotions, product planning, trade shows, clinics, business meetings, and cross-functional collaboration
- Plan and monitor budgets according to fiscal-year objectives
- Acquire new customers and expand business with existing customers through Shure’s partner ecosystem
- Enable channel partners with knowledge and tools, and ensure Shure solutions are positioned to meet customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management
- Working knowledge of the modern retail landscape in assigned territories
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM/CSP is a plus
- Ability to lead cooperative efforts among project team members
- Collaborative and consultative skills to influence others across several functional areas
- Ability to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers
- Thought leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized, with excellent follow-up
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Must be located in the Seattle, WA area or broader Pacific Northwest region
- Expect to average 50% travel
- Experience preparing and adhering to a budget
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
