About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive mechanical design strategy across Shure’s product portfolio
- Solve complex engineering challenges in audio, wireless, and acoustics-driven products
- Lead and develop a small team of engineers
- Mentor ME team while supporting system level design architectures
- Collaborate with Electrical, RF, Acoustics, Firmware, and Manufacturing disciplines
- Create fully defined 3D models and associated 2D documentation using CAD software
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering concepts
- Knowledge in FEA analysis, Fluid Dynamics, and Material Science
- Experience contributing to the development of company objectives and standards
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
