About the role

  • Assist with development (coding) of mobile application software by providing technical expertise to internal company software developers
  • Collaborate with marketing, and test and system engineering to define platform mobile application software use cases and requirements
  • Assist with the creation of integration and unit tests for mobile application software with other Company proprietary software (embedded systems)
  • Estimate, organize, and document tasks
  • Debug/fix issues, implement new requirements, and test existing Android apps (inferred from overview)

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of course work in Computer Science or related field
  • Masters level candidates a plus
  • Basic knowledge of mobile application software development on Android or iOS platforms
  • Development experience using Android with Kotlin/Java, preferably with an OO approach
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices, and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas
