  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, signal processing experts, and test engineers to design and integrate algorithms
  • Design custom machine learning models and algorithms for audio functionality (speech/music enhancement, audio classification) within latency/computation constraints
  • Transform and optimize models for implementation and work with software engineers on features, frame rates, model structures
  • Measure and fine-tune model/algorithm performance and conduct subjective listening tests
  • Identify and collect relevant data for training/test datasets, including purchasing/licensing data and in-house collection
  • Utilize ML and advanced DSP to handle real-time, low latency data pipelines and right-size solutions
  • Survey literature, conduct research and experiments, share findings and prototypes
  • Record findings and documentation; contribute to intellectual property and brainstorming
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers
  • Adopt mature ML software engineering practices (shared toolkits, repos, experiment tracking)
  • Track industry/academia progress, attend conferences, and participate in working groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistic, physics, data science, machine learning or related field; with minimum 8 years of related experience
