About the role
- Ensure operations adhere to safety regulations to protect employees
- Implement health protocols to create a secure and healthy work environment
- Manage activities related to environmental compliance to meet legal obligations
- Chemical waste management control
- Control logs of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Print safety labels for plant chemicals
- EHS system documentation
- Handling and control of welding waste containers / contaminated needles
- Update calendars regarding studies required by STPS
- Document security risks, photos, videos (as applicable)
- Control safety data sheets of plant chemicals
- Lead improvement projects
- Train operational personnel
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering Degree
- Experience 1 - 3 Years
- Knowledge of NOMS-STPS, SEMARNAT, SEDUE, JMAS
- Knowledge of identification of risks and hazards
- Knowledge of identification of environmental aspects and impacts and applicable standards
- Ergonomics
- Problem Solving Methodology
- Management of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- AutoCAD
- Excellent human relationships
- Excellent service attitude
- Ability to work as a team
- Effective communication
- Basic English
- Schedule availability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Work towards achieving objectives
