Join our team as a Procurement Specialist I supporting procurement operations and compliance
Interfaces between cross-functional teams for product transitions to ensure timely completion of purchasing tasks
Initiates and analyzes reports to communicate up-to-date material tracking and availability status to stakeholders
Ensures material availability by proactively mitigating risks to procurement commitments and advising management
Analyzes and optimizes SAP master data settings as required
Develops, maintains and distributes measurement reports
Participates in developing procurement best practices and efficient ways of doing business
Performs daily systems support related tasks
Develops and enhances multi-departmental relationships between Shure and key suppliers
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related to the Supply Chain field (i.e. Materials, Logistics, Planning, etc.)
Entry level to 2 years of experience
Proficiency in English at 90%; Spoken and written
Basic knowledge of procurement practices, terms, negotiation concepts, business law (i.e. Uniform Commercial Code-UCC for United States-except for Louisiana)
Able to travel locally or internationally approximately 5% of the time
Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
Certification as an SAP supply chain user preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills including ability to influence and negotiate
Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with urgency
Strong organizational skills including change management and project management
