About the role
- Provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transition of care
- Provides comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family-centered care
- Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care
- Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring
- Supports the ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
- OT licensed in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year occupational therapy experience preferred; new graduates considered
- Pediatric experience preferred
