About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide family-centered, age appropriate clinical cardio pulmonary care.
Utilize assessment findings in a timely manner to establish patient and family needs in collaboration with the health care team.
Communicate findings in both verbal and written format.
Seek personal/ professional development, assure safe operation of the life support equipment and perform other duties as required.
Take a leadership role as assigned, act as a clinical resource to other departments.
May precept staff after displaying proficiency.
Participate in hospital / departmental committees, special projects and research.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate Respiratory Therapy RT License in state of practice
National Registration by National Board for Respiratory Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred 2 Years in ICU setting, Pediatric/Adult RT intensive care
