Physical Therapist
Shriners Children'sPhysical Therapist providing evaluation and therapy services at Shriners Children’s. Working with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care
- Implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing comprehensive compliant and safe clinical care demonstrating the philosophy of family centered care
- Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care
- Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through activities such as mentoring and providing education to students and other professionals
- Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate, thorough documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
- PT licensed in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year physical therapy experience; new graduates considered
- Pediatric experience
