Physical Therapist – Per Diem, Weekends
Shriners Children's. Responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients including infants, toddlers, school age and adolescent children .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients including infants, toddlers, school age and adolescent children
- Administer appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21
- Participate in patient and family teaching and collaborate with other disciplines
- Facilitate functional performance through integration of skill development, strength and movement, play-based activities, and social-emotional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed in WA
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 1 year experience in Physical Therapy preferred
- Clinical experience treating pediatric patients with orthopedic and neurodevelopmental diagnoses preferred
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools such as GMFM, BOT-2, and Peabody Developmental Motor Scales
- Ability to design and implement post-operative and conservative orthopedic rehabilitation programs
- Commitment to family-centered care
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with therapeutic approaches related to spasticity management
- Experience with gait analysis and intervention
