About the role
- Provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care and patient/family education
- Implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation upon licensed independent practitioner referral
- Works with medical staff to design and implement individualized plans of care
- Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy
- Louisiana PT license
- 1 year physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Sports experience preferred
