About the role

  • acts as a clinical resource, educator, clinical nursing student instructor and consultant
  • facilitates orientation, training, education and competency development within the hospital environment
  • works within the Staff Development framework to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
  • supports Patient Care Services by facilitating the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care services orientation and education
  • may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
  • 3 years in pediatric critical care, surgical or burns
  • RN license in state of practice
  • Masters in Nursing (MSN) (preferred)
  • Experience in staff development and training (preferred)
