About the role
- acts as a clinical resource, educator, clinical nursing student instructor and consultant
- facilitates orientation, training, education and competency development within the hospital environment
- works within the Staff Development framework to accomplish departmental goals and objectives
- supports Patient Care Services by facilitating the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care services orientation and education
- may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
- 3 years in pediatric critical care, surgical or burns
- RN license in state of practice
- Masters in Nursing (MSN) (preferred)
- Experience in staff development and training (preferred)
