About the role
- Design and implement Linux-based platform solutions.
- Configure and manage automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform to streamline operations.
- Monitor platform performance and availability, addressing issues as they arise.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure systems remain secure and operational.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Ansible and Terraform.
- Implement security measures to protect platform infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and participate in audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize platform configurations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Generate reports on platform performance, security, and usage for management and stakeholders.
- Respond to platform-related incidents and outages, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and follow incident response plans to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of platform systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff on platform-related issues.
- Ensure platform operations adhere to organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve platform infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
- Manage relationships with platform service providers and vendors.
Requirements
- Must have 10 years of experience
- Security+ or equivalent.
